Debbie Bellis and Ray Driver launched Reflections Publishing, Inc. in 2005. These ladies met on the development team for one of the popular Chicken Soup for the Soul book series. After their stories were selected and published, Debbie and Ray decided to continue working on writing projects together. They have been successful in facilitating Creative Writers Workshops and assisting clients in the journey of book writing.

ABOUT THE OWNERS

Deborah Bellis is a Newborn Baby Nurse in the Los Angeles area. She provides consultations and supportive services for new parents in their roles of parenthood. She is the co-host of Reflections Presents...Cable show about making your dreams a reality. Deborah enjoys creative writing and is currently working on her book about newborns. She is a contributing author of Chicken Soup for the African American Soul and a facilitator of Creative Writers' Workshops held in local high schools and churches. She is a writing coach, ghostwriter and editor.

Ray Driver is a published author, whose literary work includes two children's' books - Jemma's Treasures and Quick n Sweet and The Purple Stream.  She is the author of the self-help book for healthy relationships called Nappy Edges. Ray is a veteran home schooler and keynote speaker for Christian groups and conventions. She is a contributing author of Chicken Soup for the African American Soul and the co-host of Reflections Presents …Cable Show. Ray is a professional editor, ghostwriter, writing coach and facilitator of Creative Writers' Workshops.

Deborah and Ray met as contributing authors for Chicken Soup for the African American Soul. They discovered a need in the community of normal everyday folks who have a shoebox of stories and poems to write.  Ray and Deborah created a venue to help and guide people to get their stories told. And, their popular cable show Reflections Presents has been extremely successful in reaching the public in providing useful information to help break down the obstacles and barriers that hinder making dreams a reality.
