15 Habits to keep you Writing
- Make or remake the commitment to write.
- Find the time and place that you can set aside to write. Be realistic.
- Have your writing tools - a good desk and chair, good writing pens, and a notebook with pockets.
- Use daily affirmations and pump yourself up. Believe in yourself.
- Face your fears and doubts, so you can start to overcome them.
- Develop a support system: join a workshop, writers' organizations, subscribe to writers' magazines, etc.
- Don't make excuses for not writing. If you have trouble keeping your commitment, don't stop. Make the commitment again and again. Just keep going.
- Drink plenty of water and watch what you eat. Exercise.
- Cultivate your spiritual growth - meditate.
- Feed your passion daily. Be excited about the journey of writing.
- Take time for yourself and don't feel guilty.
